Larry Brand’s first job in the film industry was as driver and production assistant to the legendary Orson Welles. Following his first feature film, the psychological thriller, Backfire (co-written with 8180 Films co-founder Rebecca Reynolds), he went on to write, direct, and co-star in The Drifter, Masque of the Red Death, and Overexposed for Roger Corman’s New Horizons. In 2002, Halloween: Resurrection became the second most profitable sequel in the franchise’s history. 2010’s Christina won major awards on the film festival circuit, including Best Film, Best Director, Outstanding Achievement in Filmmaking, and Outstanding Achievement in Writing.
