WONDERY is looking for a full-time Sales Planner to join the LA office. This role reports to the Sr. Strategist and works closely with the east and west coast Sales, Ad Ops, and Marketing teams on inventory and client management tools and internal and client facing sales documents.   

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Report to Sr. Strategist to support media sales operations and inventory management
  • Check and process inventory holds and IOs with urgency
  • Monitor inventory daily for over and undersold shows, sending inventory alerts and opportunities
  • Deliver weekly sellout reports and highlight inventory availability
  • Make inventory recommendations to sellers for sales proposals
  • Maintain a competitive category tracker updating sellers to available shows by category
  • Update internal and client facing programming lists
  • Update Media Kits and podcast one-sheets working closely with Marketing
  • Lay out sales plans and assist with sales presentations when needed

 

Candidate qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2 years media experience in at a media company – preferably in Sales, Ad Ops or Planning
  • Affinity for podcasts and desire to work on the podcast space
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Power Point, Outlook
  • Experience with Google Docs, Dropbox, Slack
  • Understands the marketing and advertising marketplace
  • Knowledge of digital media and digital audio
  • Ability to prioritize effectively
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving, troubleshooting, resourcefulness
